Peace Agreement Won't Be Signed on June 1. No Approved Draft, Says Prime Minister

Armenia has not yet received comments from the Azerbaijani side regarding its proposals on the peace agreement, which was transmitted before the Washington negotiations. This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan while presenting the 2022 budget execution in the National Assembly.

“If I remember correctly, this is already the fourth revision of the peace agreement. We have transmitted the fourth revision, and at this moment, we have not yet received any comments,” the Prime Minister announced.

He assured that at this point, there is no agreed draft that can be signed on June 1 in Chișinău.

It should be noted that a five-party meeting will take place in Chișinău on June 1, with the participation of European Council President Charles Michel, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
