Video: 'We will leave this call unanswered.' Who called Putin?
A strong phone ring interrupted a conversation during a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of 'Business Russia'. This is reported by tass.ru.
The head of state, who had told those gathered in the Kremlin's Catherine Hall that he was taking a break from a discussion with partners, commented on the unexpected noise with a wry smile: 'Moscow, Kremlin,' he said in response to laughter from the audience. 'But we will leave this call unanswered,' the president added with a smile.
It remains unclear who made the call. The president's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, stated on Friday that there was only one international phone conversation with the Russian leader.
