VIDEO: ‘Look at the goat’ – After discussion with journalists, is the MP from the Civil Contract faction seeking to ban their entry to the National Assembly?
The Secretary of the Civil Contract faction in the National Assembly, Artur Ghoyan, believes that the National Assembly staff should evaluate the behavior of the journalists who were accredited or allowed to enter the parliament building. This was reported by the ‘Zhoghovurd’ daily.
“The thing is, yesterday the MP from Civil Contract posted a clip from a live stream on his social media, where journalists were actively discussing the incident in parliament, which escalated after the speech of Arthur Sargsyan from the Armenia faction. Following the posting of the video clip, Artur Ghoyan stated in a conversation with reporters: ‘The staff of the National Assembly, who accredited and allowed him to enter the building, should also receive a suitable assessment.’ In other words, Artur Ghoyan is now seeking to ensure that certain journalists are banned from entering parliament. It is no secret that this government (which possibly has many former journalists among them) is fighting against representatives of the fourth estate,” it is noted.
Let us recall that the Secretary of the Civil Contract faction had previously written on his Facebook page: ‘Later they will say that we are independent journalists, while others will say that we are patriotic and wise deputies. These naive individuals are discussing the provocations incited by the opposition in front of a live audience, commenting on how the Dashnak Gegham Manukyan once again failed to turn the metal detector and how he failed to incite a fight in the hall.’
