“Some time ago someone said that if previously the government and the opposition used to argue in parliament, now they listen to each other; unfortunately, this has not turned out to be true due to provocations and incitement from one of the representatives of the ruling party,” stated Agvani Vardanyan, a member of the ‘Hayastan’ faction, at the start of the National Assembly session, referring to the incident that took place yesterday.

“That individual is me and I will respond to you on certain points, I ask you to pay attention to my speeches,” said Khachatur Sukiasyan, responding to Agvani Vardanyan, a member of the ‘Hayastan’ faction.

Moreover, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, also reacted, claiming he had witnessed how the members of the ‘Hayastan’ faction provoked and insulted security staff.

It should be noted that the situation in the National Assembly escalated after the speech of Arthur Sargsyan, a member of the ‘Hayastan’ faction, leading to a scuffle.
