“Will they bring him to the forefront?” Gegham Manukyan on Judge Armen Danielyan

There is a director of the Yerevan circus, Sos Petrosyan, who has a somewhat proverbial expression: “Will they bring him to the forefront?” This was stated today, on May 24, during a discussion in the National Assembly regarding the candidacy of Supreme Court Judge Armen Danielyan by Gegham Manukyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction.

Turning to Armen Danielyan, Gegham Manukyan noted that among lawyers and defendants, it is well known that when a case is assigned to him in the Court of Appeal, lawyers and appellants often do not even inquire about the decisions Judge Armen Danielyan would make regarding the case.

“In your opinion, what is the reason that from the very beginning, the lawyers assigned to the criminal cases related to Judge Armen Danielyan have predetermined what decision will be made?” asked Gegham Manukyan.
