Video: Shiraz and Sevak to Be Removed from School Curriculum Tomorrow, Manukyan Says

From the podium of the National Assembly, Gegham Manukyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, addressed Armenian literature and history teachers, stating: "Dear teachers, yesterday was yet another press conference denying Artsakh. I want to warn you, they are stealing our memory from our people. They are stealing Mount Ararat from us. From the debate that unfolded here weeks ago regarding Ararat and Aragats, I understood that it is an Overton window. The enemy's attack is now being directed against school-aged children, and they are gradually injecting the idea that Ararat has no connection to us.

Remember, tomorrow Shiraz and Sevak will be removed from the school curriculum, history teachers! Remember, there is currently a hostile attack against the Armenian people. Those teachers who, with their heads down, take children to listen to Nikol Pashinyan's hostile statements will become accomplices. For the future of those children, take a moment to think that you were nurtured with Shiraz and Sevak, and do not deprive our future generations of the opportunity to be educated in the same way," Manukyan stated.
