EAEU Prime Ministers to Meet in Sochi in June
The prime ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states will participate in a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, scheduled to take place from June 7-9 in Sochi.
“The prime ministers will be provided with information regarding the implementation of the roadmap for cooperation among EAEU countries, the further development of the integrated information system of the EAEU and the digital agenda, the results of negotiations on the signing of a free trade agreement with Iran, as well as the progress on the agreement for regulating the alcoholic beverages market within the EAEU,” said Iya Malkina, the official spokesperson of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
“The heads of government will discuss information on the progress of eliminating barriers within the EAEU internal market, a report on the creation and development of transport infrastructure in the East-West and North-South directions in the territories of EAEU states, including in collaboration with the Chinese initiative ‘One Belt, One Road,’ an annual report on the state of competition in cross-border markets, and the measures taken to prevent violations of common competition rules,” added the EAEU official.
