‘Soon the ammunition will be detonated’: Artsakh Emergency Service warns

On May 6, at 12:38 PM, a report was received at the Artsakh Emergency Situations Ministry's crisis management center from the Askeran district police department. A resident of the Shosh community discovered unexploded cluster munitions and one shell fragment bomb while conducting agricultural work on his property near the village school.

The munitions were found in the Shosh area, originating from the military actions of 2020 during the Azerbaijani forces' shelling of the village.

To neutralize the unexploded ordnance, emergency service bomb disposal specialists have gone to the scene. “Soon the ammunition will be detonated. In case of hearing an explosion, please do not panic,” the Artsakh Emergency Situations Ministry stated.
