Car Accident in Yerevan: One of the Victims is a Child

On April 23, a major car accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 14:30, vehicles driven by 40-year-old Mher Harutyunyan in a Ford Focus and 34-year-old Narek Knyazyan in an Opel Vectra collided at the intersection near the Avan cemetery.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, four individuals, including one child, were taken to the St. Gregory the Illuminator Medical Center, from where a 5-year-old boy was transferred to the Holy Mother of God Medical Center.

The emergency response included one firefighting team from the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service.
