Explosion in Pokr Mantash Village: One Injured
On April 26, at 17:58, the Shirak regional crisis management center received a report of a gas leak at a house in the village of Pokr Mantash, followed by an explosion. One person has been injured.
A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene. It has been revealed that an explosion of a 20 kg gas cylinder occurred in one of the houses on 2nd dead-end of 6th street in Pokr Mantash village, resulting in the collapse of the summer kitchen walls, approximately 30-35 square meters. There is a risk of roof collapse in the kitchen.
Before rescue teams arrived at the scene, the injured person, L. H. (born in 1950), was transported to a medical center in Gyumri. Rescuers are currently working on reinforcing the kitchen roof.
