Azerbaijani Side Has Just Closed the Hakari Bridge on the Artsakh-Armenia Border
The Azerbaijani side has once again grossly violated the provisions of the trilateral statement of 2020, while continuously spreading disinformation about the transfer of weapons from Armenia to Artsakh. They have just closed the Hakari Bridge, located on the Artsakh-Armenia border, which falls under the responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the "Lachin corridor."
This information has been reported by the Artsakh information headquarters. The authorities of Artsakh strongly condemn this latest provocation by Azerbaijan, considering it a criminal act aimed at deepening the blockade of Artsakh and fostering ethnic cleansing, which violates both the trilateral statement and the mandatory execution decision of the International Court of Justice of the United Nations, as well as other fundamental norms of international law.
Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan has convened an urgent meeting of the Security Council to discuss the recent developments and the corresponding actions of the Artsakh authorities. Further details regarding the events will be presented shortly.
