The 'Country of Living' Party to Participate in Yerevan Mayor's Election
The 'Country of Living' party has decided to participate in and win the Yerevan council elections. This announcement was made by the party's president, Mane Tandilyan, during the party congress.
“Our party is implementing its adopted strategy with full responsibility, effectiveness, and consistency, aiming for a smooth change of power in the country through elections. We are represented in councils in 18 communities in Armenia, three of which we have taken responsibility for governance. Now we have reached the next stage of our party's adopted policy: the Yerevan council elections. I am pleased to announce that the 'Country of Living' party has decided to participate and win those elections,” said Tandilyan.
She assured that the elections in Yerevan will have a significant political impact on the country's future political situation. The politician emphasized that they aim to remove the 'Civil Contract' party from power in Yerevan, just as they have done in Alaverdi, Novyberean, and Tatev communities.
The president of the 'Country of Living' party suggested that Yerevan residents turn the upcoming city council elections into a referendum on distrust of the government.
It is noteworthy that the Yerevan council elections are scheduled for 2023.
