Azerbaijani Checkpoint Installed Near Entrance of Lachin Corridor

Azerbaijan has installed a checkpoint of its State Border Service near the entrance of the Lachin Corridor, which connects Armenia with Nagorno-Karabakh. This information was communicated to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces and the Turkish-Russian Joint Monitoring Center, according to a statement from the Azerbaijani agency’s press service.

It is noteworthy that this constitutes a gross violation of the trilateral agreement dated November 9, 2020. Following the decision of the International Court of Justice to immediately restore uninterrupted traffic in both directions, Azerbaijan not only fails to comply with it but further deepens the blockade of Artsakh.
