Brothers Steal Gold Jewelry Causing Damage Worth 800,000 Dram

On April 18, at 21:00, a citizen who called the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that between 11:30 and 20:00, his apartment on Mantashyan Street had been burglarized after the entrance door was opened with a modified key.

An operational group from the Shengavit Police Department was dispatched to the specified address. It was found that gold jewelry had been stolen from the apartment, causing damages amounting to 800,000 dram.

Criminal investigators from the Shengavit Police Department, utilizing operational information from a 3rd class inspector of the 2nd unit of the Yerevan city department, on April 19, discovered and arrested two brothers, aged 26 and 24, on suspicion of committing residential burglary near one of the buildings on Raffi Street. They confessed in the police station that they were responsible for the aforementioned burglary. The necessary documents have been prepared and submitted to the Shengavit investigative department.

A criminal case has been initiated.
