Teacher Calls Student Mentally Ill, Pregnant Mother Dragged Away

On April 20, a resident of Geghadir village, L. H., was called to the police station after reporting that on April 19, her son, S. V., was labeled as "mentally ill" in the presence of his classmates by the class teacher, M. P. She had visited the school on April 20 to seek clarification and had an angry confrontation with the teacher. This was reported by Aravot.am.

According to the woman, during this incident, a teacher from the same school, A. K., entered the classroom and physically assaulted her by hitting and dragging her out of the school, causing physical pain and disregarding her pregnancy.

It has been noted that the documents related to this case have been sent to the Investigative Department of the Republic of Armenia in the Aragatsotn region to discuss the initiation of proceedings.
