Soldiers Killed in Tegh Village Posthumously Awarded

The President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, has signed a decree to posthumously award the soldiers who were killed as a result of the Azerbaijani attack in the border area of Tegh village.

"Based on the Prime Minister's recommendation and in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as part 1 of Article 5.3 of the Law on State Awards and Honors of the Republic of Armenia, for their contribution to the defense of the homeland and ensuring security, for the courage displayed during military operations and for their selfless devotion, the following soldiers of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia are awarded posthumously:

With the 1st class "Combat Cross": Major Mkrtich Armeni Harutyunyan, Commander of a subdivision of unit N.
With the "Courage Medal": Lieutenant Arthur Avetis Sahakyan, Commander of a platoon of unit N;
Lieutenant Henrik Vachaghani Kocharyan, Officer of unit N;
Junior Sergeant Narek Gagiki Sargsyan, Soldier of unit N.
