ICRC Representatives Visit Azerbaijani Detainees in Armenia

Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have visited two Azerbaijani servicemen detained in Armenia. Zara Amatuni, head of the ICRC's communication and prevention programs in Armenia, shared this information in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia.

“ICRC representatives held individual meetings with the two Azerbaijanis. Through the Red Cross, messages have been sent to their family members,” Amatuni stated.

It is noteworthy that on April 10, it became known that Azerbaijani nationals had appeared in the community of Bnuni in Sisian the previous day. On April 13, the Ministry of Defense reported that a second Azerbaijani serviceman, who had killed an employee of the Military-Political Commission, had been found and arrested within Armenian territory.
