Customs Complications for Vehicles at Upper Lars

The Armenian Embassy in Georgia has issued a statement regarding customs issues. “We inform you that due to a technical problem in the Russian section of the Upper Lars checkpoint, complications have arisen related to the customs clearance of vehicles crossing the checkpoint. The Armenian Embassy in Georgia and the Armenian Consulate General in Rostov-on-Don are in constant contact with the relevant authorities of the countries involved to address the issue,” the statement said.

The statement also mentions that efforts are being made to resolve the issue promptly.
