Azerbaijan Interested in Friendly Relations with All Countries, Says Azerbaijani FM Spokesperson

Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Aykhan Hacizada has stated that Azerbaijan is interested in friendly relations with all countries, including Iran. He also noted that he views positively the phone conversations between the foreign ministers of the two countries on April 7 and 8.

According to him, Hussein Amir Abdollahian and Jeyhun Bayramov discussed the bilateral relations and the issues present within them in detail.

“Mutual respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty is a priority of Azerbaijan’s foreign policy. Baku continues to make efforts to ensure its national interests and security,” said Hacizada.
