Azeris Entered the Village of Bnunis in Sisian, Residents Repelled Them with Weapons: New Details
Unknown individuals tried to enter the home of a family relocated from Artsakh in the village of Bnunis, Sisian municipality of the Syunik province. Former head of Bnunis, Alik Mkrtchyan, shared this information in an interview with 24News, presenting the details he received.
According to Mkrtchyan, he does not have specific information on whether they were Azerbaijanis or not, but the residents of the house, upon seeing that there were strangers, closed the door after opening it. He stated, 'The house is at the beginning of the village. A family relocated from Artsakh lives there. Unknown individuals knocked on the door, and the resident opened the door. Then, when the family members saw that there were strangers, they repelled them with weapons.'
As reported by the media, the administrative head of Bnunis, Gor Hovhannisyan, said that the incident occurred not yesterday, but the day before, at around 5:00 AM. 'They entered the village but did not enter the house and did not cause any damage. We do not know how many there were; the relevant authorities are dealing with it,' Hovhannisyan concluded. The resident of the mentioned house, named Grisha, refused to comment on this issue.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia recently reported that on April 10, between 01:00 and 02:00 AM, an Azerbaijani soldier was discovered and arrested on Armenian territory.
