Artsakh Information Headquarters Issues Statement

The Artsakh Russian Peacekeeping Forces' Cooperation Center, in collaboration with the Russian peacekeeping forces stationed in the Republic of Artsakh, is organizing the safety of agricultural activities in areas close to the contact line based on submitted applications. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

Recently, particularly in the Martuni and Askeran regions, targeted shots from Azerbaijani military positions near the work sites have frequently been recorded, using firearms of various calibers. This has disrupted the proper conduct of agricultural work and posed risks to civilian individuals working in the fields.

Therefore, considering the aforementioned dangers and obstacles posed by the Azerbaijani side, we emphasize that before conducting agricultural work in areas adjacent to the contact line, citizens should apply to the Center through regional administrations, in order to ensure the presence of Russian peacekeepers in all possible cases.
