Present Your Plan for Ukraine: Xi Jinping to Macron

Chinese President Xi Jinping has proposed that French President Emmanuel Macron present his plan for resolving the Ukraine conflict. This was reported by RTHK.

The leaders of the two countries exchanged thoughts on the Ukrainian crisis during an informal meeting in Guangzhou.

Xi noted that the French side could make specific proposals for the political resolution of the crisis, and that China is ready to support the country in this matter and play a constructive role.

"The French side also believes that a political solution to the Ukrainian crisis should take into account the legitimate interests of all parties. France places great importance on China’s international influence and is ready to communicate and closely cooperate with the Chinese side to jointly work towards a prompt political resolution of the crisis," the website quotes Macron.

Xi Jinping and Emmanuel Macron concluded that "the causes of the Ukrainian crisis are complex, and any delay will harm all parties, and a swift ceasefire is in the interests of all concerned parties and the world."
