The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Zhanna Andreasian, wrote on her Facebook page: "As you know, we have completely changed the mechanism of teacher certification that had been in place for about ten years. Over this decade, no one obtained the highest, fourth category certification, which comes with a fifty percent salary increase. With the newly reformed system, we have just begun the process, and we already have our first results, with our first teacher achieving the fourth, the highest certification under the new approach.

Dear teachers, don’t be afraid, apply! The new approaches are directed solely at encouraging your professional development, alongside salary increases. By the way, we have already received more than a thousand applications for voluntary certification. We are also receiving applications from individuals who are currently not teaching but meet the requirements.

Applications are also coming in from teachers of general education subjects in colleges and vocational schools, as well as from teachers working in secondary vocational education institutions. Take advantage of all the opportunities, dear teachers, as they will only contribute to the improvement of our children's educational quality, which is our paramount goal."
