Azerbaijanis Sleeping in Tents While Our Police are in Cars: Details from Tegh

Azerbaijanis are on our land, confirmed by the cadastre, and are conducting construction works. This was stated by Masis Zeynalyan, a council member of the Tegh community in the Syunik region, during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly.

He emphasizes that Azerbaijanis have not retreated and remain in the same location, even setting up a post in his wheat field and pitching tents.

“We discussed the current situation with the Governor of Syunik. Currently, police officers are on duty and sleeping in their cars along the road. On one side is the Turk, on the other side is their presence, like prisoners. Azerbaijanis are sleeping in tents while our police are in cars. You can freely enter Tegh, but you cannot go further,” he stated.
