An Explosion of a Mine Occurs in Karmir Shuka, Resulting in Injuries

On April 2, at 15:35, the Martuni Police Department received a report that a mine had exploded in the forest area of the administrative territory of Karmir Shuka, injuring a civilian.

Police officers who arrived at the scene discovered that around 15:10 on the same day, three residents of Karmir Shuka were gathering morels in the specified area near the contact line when G.B. (born in 1997) stepped on a mine.

He was transferred to the Republican Medical Center, where he was diagnosed with traumatic amputation of the left foot.

The investigation is being conducted by the Martuni regional police department.
