Random Gunfire Targeting Civilians Reported by Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs
Gunfire has been directed at civilians from Azerbaijani military positions, according to a report from the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On March 26, a report was received at the Martuni Regional Police Department's Karmir Shuka subdivision indicating that around 10:10 AM, residents Razmik Harutyunyan and Yervand Balayan from the village of Sos were carrying out pruning and cleaning work in the vineyard area known as 'Khzazhen Tak' when they came under sporadic gunfire from enemy positions.
On the same day, around 11:05 AM, residents Vova Khachatryan and Ruben Alaverdyan from the village of Taghavard were also targeted while performing agricultural work in a wheat field located in the area known as 'Shekheri Yes'.
Random gunfire from adjacent Azerbaijani military positions with various firearms was directed at Artsakh citizens.
Fortunately, no one was injured. However, agricultural activities were once again halted. The report has been forwarded to the Russian peacekeeping forces.
