US Navy Reconnaissance Aircraft Breaches Iranian Airspace

A US Navy reconnaissance aircraft has violated Iranian airspace in the southern part of the country. This was reported on April 2 by the Iranian Mehr agency, citing the Iranian naval forces. The information was also passed along by regnum.ru.

It was noted that after the breach, Iranian naval commanders, fully prepared for action, sent a warning to the aircraft's crew not to carry out such operations without authorization.

The agency added that the EP-3E is one of the American reconnaissance aircraft whose mission is to gather information.
