Anti-Armenian Flyers Distributed in Glendale

The Glendale chapter of the Armenian National Committee of America strongly condemns a recent hate incident in Glendale, where individuals distributed anti-Armenian flyers promoting the horrific idea of bringing the Armenian Genocide to completion. This reprehensible act follows a similar incident that occurred a few weeks ago in Beverly Hills, highlighting the growing danger of anti-Armenian sentiments and hate crimes in our communities.

As an organization dedicated to the welfare and advancement of the Armenian-American community, we are deeply concerned about these acts of hatred and call on local authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into these incidents and hold the perpetrators accountable.

The Armenian Genocide is one of the dark pages of human history, resulting in the death and displacement of 1.5 million Armenians. Facilitating the continuation of such atrocities is not only morally repugnant but also a direct threat to the safety and well-being of our community.

We urge our fellow citizens to stand in solidarity against hatred, discrimination, and violence. Together, we can foster a safe, inclusive, and just society that upholds the values of respect, compassion, and unity.
