Forecast of Weather for Coming Days
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia warns that the lowest temperature in the Ararat Valley is expected to be between 0 and -2 degrees Celsius in the air, and -3 to -4 degrees on the ground surface during the night of April 1 to April 2, which will be observed at dawn, between 05:00 and 07:00.
In the pre-mountainous regions of the republic, at heights of 1200-1500 meters, where apricot trees are also in bloom, the lowest temperature is expected to be between -2 and -4 degrees on the night of March 31 to April 1, and between 0 and -2 degrees on the night of April 1 to April 2. In these areas, the low temperature on the night of April 1 will also be accompanied by snow.
Precipitation is expected in significant parts of the republic on the night of April 1, and in some areas during the day on April 1 and April 3, with snowfall in the first mountainous and pre-mountainous regions. Weather without precipitation is anticipated on April 2, with the nights of April 3 and 4-5 also expected to be dry. In some areas, fog is expected.
The wind will be northwestern, with a speed of 4-6 m/s, while on April 2 and 5, winds may strengthen in some areas to 15-20 m/s. The air temperature is expected to drop by another 3-6 degrees on the night of April 1.
In Yerevan, precipitation is expected on April 1. After noon on April 3, short-term rain is possible. Weather without precipitation is anticipated on April 2, with April 4-5 also expected to be dry. In the capital, temperatures on the night of April 1 will range from -1 to +1 degrees, with daytime temperatures reaching +7 to +9 degrees.
