Trump Addresses Supporters Regarding Charges Against Him
Former US President Donald Trump, facing official charges, has reached out to his supporters. The message was posted on his own Truth Social platform.
"They are not coming for me, they are coming for you. I just happened to be standing in their way," the political figure wrote.
It was previously reported that grand jurors are accusing Trump of fraud on 30 counts. The former president's attorney has stated that he is likely to appear in the Supreme Court of New York in Manhattan on April 4.
The attorney also noted that the former White House leader would not hide in his estate in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, amid the ongoing investigative actions against him.
In mid-March, Trump had warned that he could be arrested by the Manhattan District Attorney's office. Media outlets believe that the billionaire could face charges related to allegedly paying adult film actress Stormy Daniels for silence, purportedly through his lawyer, during the final days of the 2016 presidential campaign.
