Donald Trump Jr. Says Allegations Against His Father Are Turning the US into a 'Banana Republic'

Former US President Donald Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., expressed that the allegations against his father are turning the US into a 'banana republic'. On Thursday, he shared this opinion on social media.

“Our corrupt elite is not threatened by dangerous criminals on the streets because they have personal protection. They don’t care when ordinary people are terrorized. But Trump is a threat to them, so they are willing to turn us into a banana republic to stop him,” he wrote on Twitter.

Trump Jr. believes that the charges against his father are “an attempt by radical leftists to attack their political enemies” and also “interference to stop Trump in the 2024 elections.”

“The only solution is to stuff it down their throats and get him back to the White House,” he added.

Another son of the former president, Eric Trump, called the incident “the misconduct of a Third World prosecutor.” He views it as “opportunistic attacks on a political opponent.”

The next presidential elections in the US are scheduled for November 2024. Trump announced in November 2022 that he was entering the race for the highest office in the country. Current President Joe Biden has hinted at his hopes of being re-elected, but he has not yet announced the launch of a new campaign.
