Danish Ambassador Summoned by Turkey's Foreign Ministry Over Protests Against Quran and Turkish Flag

The Danish ambassador in Ankara has been summoned by Turkey's Foreign Ministry in connection with the 'attacks' against the Quran and the Turkish flag.

In a statement released by the ministry, it was mentioned that the Danish ambassador was informed that Turkey strongly condemns and protests this despicable attack.

The ministry urged Danish authorities to take necessary actions against the perpetrators of this crime and to implement measures to prevent such provocations from recurring.

On March 25, it was announced that Turkey's Foreign Ministry condemned the desecration of the Quran that took place in Denmark.

It was noted that this action, carried out during the holy month of Ramadan, has revealed the growing level of 'Islamophobia, discrimination, and intolerance' in Europe.
