Iran Responds for the First Time to Israel's Protests

The spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanaani Safi, has made a statement regarding the recent events unfolding in Israel. This was reported by journalist and producer Marina al-Shalaan from Sputnik Iran.

"A fire has broken out in the house of the arsonist-occupier," said the Iranian diplomat. Kanaani added that "the attempt by the prime minister of the Zionist regime to increase and maintain his power has once again revealed the internal weaknesses of Zionist society."

It should be noted that in Israel, massive protests against judicial system reforms have been ongoing for the 12th week. The proposed package of laws would limit the powers of the Supreme Court and give the government control over the appointment of judges.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir agreed to postpone the adoption of the judicial reform law until the summer session of parliament.
