Germany Transfers 18 Leopard 2A6 Tanks to Ukraine as Announced: Scholz
The Ukrainian armed forces have received 18 modern German Leopard 2A6 tanks. This was announced on Monday by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during a press conference following negotiations with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in Rotterdam.
“We have delivered the tanks as announced,” said Scholz in response to a related question. Thus, the government leader confirmed the information from Der Spiegel, which earlier reported that the promised 18 Leopard 2A6 tanks had been transferred to Kyiv by German authorities.
