VIDEO: Explosion in Melitopol - Details

An explosion occurred this morning on one of the streets in Melitopol due to a homemade explosive device. According to official reports, a police officer was injured in the explosion and is currently hospitalized with landmine injuries.

The explosion in Melitopol, located in the Zaporizhzhia region, is considered an act of terrorism, allegedly orchestrated by Ukrainian special services. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Vladimir Rogov, the head of the 'We Are with Russia' movement and a member of the advisory council of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration.

'This is an element of terrorism and an attempt by terrorists to destabilize the situation in the liberated areas of the Zaporizhzhia region,' Rogov stated.

Additionally, the special services discovered a vehicle containing firearms, approximately 500 rounds of ammunition, and grenades in its trunk.
