Pentagon Provides Off-Road Vehicles to Armenia's NSS

The U.S. Department of Defense’s Threat Reduction Agency is donating a range of technical equipment, including 13 off-road vehicles and spare parts, to Armenia as part of the "Prevention of the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction" program. This information was revealed in the agenda of today’s session of the Armenian government.

According to the proposed project, the equipment will be assigned to the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia to enhance the efficiency of the border troops in addressing their assigned tasks. The project will soon be presented to the parliament for ratification.
