Part of the ‘Vstrechi’ Bridge Will Be Closed Until June 1, City Hall

The Yerevan City Hall has issued a statement indicating that,

“Dear citizens, while carrying out renovation works on the deformation joints of the ‘Vstrechi’ bridge on Garegin Nzhdeh Avenue, it became clear that the transition slabs are missing, necessitating additional construction work. As a result, the construction timeline has been extended, leading to the organization of new temporary traffic routes. During this phase of the work, the intersection of Arshakunyats Avenue and Garegin Nzhdeh Street towards the intersection of Artsakh Avenue and Rostovyan Street will be completely closed. Traffic in this direction will be conducted on one lane, accounting for the opposing direction. In the next phase, the same approach will be applied for reverse traffic. The construction work is expected to be completed by June 1, 2023.”
