Photos: Army Serviceman Rolls Over in Mitsubishi and Falls into Ravine

On March 16, a serious car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 18:10, 46-year-old Kamo A., a resident of the Gegharkunik region, lost control of his Mitsubishi vehicle on the 42 km section of the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway. The car veered off the roadway, rolled over several times, and ended up in a ravine on the left side of the road. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the news outlet, as a result of the accident, Kamo A. sustained injuries and was transported to the 'Gavar' medical center.

Emergency responders from the 31st Fire and Rescue Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs quickly arrived at the scene. The firefighters secured the vehicle's gas cylinder and then disconnected the car's power supply, maintaining a presence on-site.

An investigation has been initiated by the 5th Garrison Investigative Department of the Military Investigative Committee of Armenia, as it was revealed that the driver serves in a military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.
