Photos: How the Bus Accident Happened and Who the Deceased Woman Is; Ministry of Internal Affairs Provides Details

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the rescue service have reported new details about the school bus accident. Specifically, it is noted that on the 16th km of the Kapan-Norashenik highway, a "PAZ" brand bus (driver L.G., born in 1948) transporting students and staff from the Okhtar village secondary school went off the roadway and fell from a bridge (about 5 meters high) into the Ajanan River.

Rescuers have transported 7 injured individuals to emergency vehicles. A total of 24 injured people (9 staff members and 15 students) have been hospitalized at the Kapan medical center. The death of teacher T.D. (born in 1970) has been recorded at the hospital.

Rescuers have de-energized the bus and closed the gas cylinder valve.
