VIDEO: Putin Recites Children's Quatrain and Entertains Conference Participants

Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled a children's quatrain about Lenin at the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Russia (RSPP) conference. During the event, one of the guests asked Putin a question about advertising technologies that would actively develop business in the Russian Federation.

In response, Putin said, “To be honest, I did not understand what this is about; I remembered a children's quatrain: ‘I am a girl, I dance and sing. I don’t know Lenin, but I love him.' He added, ‘I don’t know what you are talking about, but I support your idea,’” smiling under the guests' applause.
