Video: A Magnitude 7.5 Earthquake Could Occur in Yerevan, This is a Fact, Says Minister

Yerevan could experience an earthquake with a magnitude of up to 7 to 7.5, which would lead to disastrous consequences. This was stated today, March 15, in parliament by the Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Pambukhchyan.

“Considering also the apartment buildings constructed during the Soviet era, and the fact that our citizens have a bad habit of making certain changes in buildings, which affects the seismic stability of the structures,” said Armen Pambukhchyan.
