Video: How a Suspect in a Double Murder Escaped from the Courtroom in the USA

A suspect in a double murder in Oregon, USA, escaped from the courtroom before his trial. The incident occurred in late February and was captured by CCTV cameras, according to RT.

The man’s name is Eddie Villalobos. The footage shows him being escorted to court by a sheriff's deputy. Before the court hearings, the handcuffs and shackles are removed from the defendant. When the accused realized that nothing was restraining him, he seized the opportunity and ran out of the courtroom. Two law enforcement officers followed in pursuit.

A police operation was initiated; hours later, Villalobos was found in a neighboring apartment. He had entered there and hidden in a closet, covering himself with a blanket. The man was ultimately charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of second-degree escape.
