VIDEO: Kilograms of Drugs, Gold, Weapons, and Large Sums of Money - How the Case Was Uncovered in Yerevan
Based on operational data received at the Main Department of Criminal Police, law enforcement officials conducted a search on March 21 in a business premises belonging to a 43-year-old resident of Yerevan within the framework of a criminal case initiated by the Investigative Committee's Yerevan division.
The search was attended not only by police officers and Investigative Committee representatives but also by specialists from the Customs Anti-Smuggling Department of the State Revenue Committee.
A significant quantity of narcotics was discovered, specifically, over 23 grams of cocaine, over 627 grams of methamphetamine, 1 kilogram and 435 grams of marijuana, 237 grams of ecstasy, over 8 grams of heroin, hash oil, opium, methadone, and other drugs.
Various types of psychoactive pills were also found, including Subutex, pregabalin, diazepam, and lorazepam.
Additionally, law enforcement seized a combat pistol, a rifle, and an air pistol, alongside $51,900 and €187,700, gold rings and chains, gold coins, gold ingots, and diamond stones.
The 43-year-old man has been arrested. Circumstances are being clarified during the pre-investigation.
