He urged to wait and study Suren Papikyan's declaration to determine his income and understand how he acquired the apartment.

According to materials published by Hetq, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan bought an apartment for $168,000, which today is worth $412,000. “If what is indicated is true, then I have a suggestion: go negotiate with the bank and buy that house for $300,000 and sell it for $400,000. Once you sell it for that amount, we all will know that it was accurate. I urge all journalists and NGOs to follow this path. I apologize to Mr. Papikyan, but I will insist that he sell his house for $300,000. I must honestly say that for a year now I have been trying to sell my house so that I can possibly buy an apartment, but I haven't been able to sell it for the price I want,” Pashinyan stated.

Pashinyan also added that since 2018, 25,000 people, including ministers, have benefited from the income tax refund program to acquire newly built 1-4 room apartments.
