Video: Can Our Territories Remain Occupied for Years? Pashinyan Responds

"I do not envision a one-step solution to the problems of returning occupied territories. Our experience shows that one should not make ‘hasty’ moves; we must proceed with a consistent, strategic approach to safeguard the interests of our state," stated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his press conference.

"The territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Armenia are a red line for us, but we envision a long-term, deep, comprehensive strategic solution to these issues," he added.

In response to a clarifying question about whether these territories could remain occupied for years, the Prime Minister answered: "Since 1994, Armenia has had occupied territories: Artsvashen, 70 percent of the agricultural lands of Paravakar village in Tavush region, the left bank of the Berdkhabar reservoir up to the Odndagh mountain, which are part of Armenia's sovereign territory, as well as the territories of Aygehovit and Vazashen villages, among others."
