Four Missiles Shot Down in Belgorod Region: Details
The air defense system has intercepted four missiles over the Belgorod region, with one person reported injured, announced regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on his Telegram channel.
"Our air defense system has operated in the Belgorod region. Four missiles were shot down. The consequences are being assessed. It is already known that there is one casualty," he wrote.
Additionally, according to the governor, missile debris damaged two private households. An emergency response team has already been dispatched, along with the head of the Belgorod region, Vladimir Pertsev, to coordinate with emergency services, Gladkov added.
Later, the governor clarified that doctors are assessing the injured person's condition as moderate. "The ambulance is transporting a woman with a concussion to the hospital; there are no open wounds," Gladkov stated.
The region is currently under a high level of terrorist threat, with emergency regulations in effect across 15 localities.
