VIDEO: "It’s Wrong to Divide and Label as Armenian, Artsakhian," Says Ruben Vardanian

Former Prime Minister of Artsakh Ruben Vardanian has made a post on his Facebook page sharing his interview with the Future of Armenia initiative.

"The last 90 days have made it clearer that the issue of Artsakh is not just a concern for the people of Artsakh, but for the entire Armenian world. It is very important to realize that the challenges facing Artsakh are challenges for all of us. It is incorrect to separate and label as Armenian, Artsakhian, or Lebanese. In this situation, we are all Artsakhians. The blockade does not only affect the 120,000 Armenians in Artsakh. The issue we face is about a universal idea—preserving the Armenian spirit and Armenian DNA. I am genuinely pleased that this opinion is also dominant among the participants of the Future Armenian conference, and that participants gathered in Yerevan from various countries consider Artsakh a matter for all Armenians. However, this also requires that actions must be taken daily in the Diaspora, in Armenia, and in Artsakh, so we can make that model of cooperation a reality. I believe we can once again set an example for other nations, as we have done many times throughout our history,” wrote Vardanian.
