Zelensky Denied Second Time to Speak at the Oscars
The organizers of the Oscars have denied Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's request to speak during the award ceremony for the second time, according to Variety.
The awards ceremony is set to take place on March 12.
It’s worth noting that Mike Simpson, a representative from the Hollywood WMA agency, had submitted a request to the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to allow Volodymyr Zelensky to speak virtually at the ceremony. However, the Academy has rejected this request.
The Academy has not officially commented on this decision.
