Armen Grigoryan Informs Brice Roquefort on the Need for International Presence in Artsakh and the Lachin Corridor

On March 7, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan received the Special Representative for South Caucasus, French Co-Chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group Brice Roquefort. The interlocutors discussed the situation around the Lachin Corridor and the resulting humanitarian crisis in Artsakh.

The parties emphasized the necessity of implementing the legally binding decision of the International Court of Justice regarding the opening of the Lachin Corridor. The Secretary of the Security Council drew the attention of his counterpart to the terrorist attack launched by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Artsakh on March 5 and highlighted the need for an international presence in Artsakh and the Lachin Corridor.
