Another Shameful Incident Recorded Yesterday, Says Artsakh Prime Minister
Artsakh Prime Minister Gurgen Nersisyan has made a statement on his Facebook page regarding those individuals who continue to enrich themselves at the expense of the state and its citizens.
“Dear compatriots, you are aware that after the blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia by Azerbaijan, humanitarian cargo arriving in the republic has been severely limited and reaches us with great difficulty. However, during the organization of transportation of necessary medicines and essential goods for our population's needs, there are still individuals who find opportunities to enrich themselves at the state's and citizens' expense. Another shameful incident was recorded yesterday. As I have noted, this issue is under the attention of state agencies, and each such act will receive a proper evaluation and response. If these irresponsible and shameful actions continue, broader public awareness campaigns will be carried out. We must raise our voices against attempts and incidents of enriching oneself at the expense of a besieged and needy population,” stated Nersisyan.
